Your new company Our client is a growing critical minerals organisation with exploration and development projects across Australia. They are seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to join their Far North Queensland operation and provide leadership across active exploration and drilling programs.

Your new role

As the Senior Geologist, you will take a site-based leadership role overseeing RC and diamond drilling activities while managing exploration staff, contractors and field programs. You will play a key role in exploration planning, target generation, safety leadership, mentoring junior team members and delivering successful exploration outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

- Bachelor of Science (Geology) qualification
- Minimum 8+ years of exploration geology experience
- Strong experience across exploration drilling programs and target generation
- Proven leadership experience supervising and mentoring geology teams
- Experience managing contractors,



budgets and exploration programs
- Strong geological interpretation skills across geological, geochemical and geophysical datasets
- Experience with Micromine, ArcGIS Pro/QGIS and geological databases
- Robust understanding of Queensland mining legislation and safety requirements
- Site Supervisor training (S123/G189 or equivalent)
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- First Aid Certificate
