Sara Lee is looking for a Maintenance Electrician. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment , supporting production through breakdown response, fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, equipment uptime, and safe production operations in a manufacturing environment.

Shift & Flexibility

This is mainly a Monday to Friday position , offering stable weekday work with occasional weekend overtime for planned maintenance and projects.

You’ll also be required to support the team by covering afternoon and night shifts when needed , providing essential leave coverage to ensure continuity of breakdown response, maintenance support, and production uptime across the site.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to electrical breakdowns and provide rapid fault diagnosis and repair

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment

- Install, test, and commission electrical systems and machinery

- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting across production and packaging equipment

- Support equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimise plant performance

- Ensure all work complies with safety, quality,



and food manufacturing standards

About You

- Qualified NSW Licensed Electrician (essential)

- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or fast-paced maintenance environments

- Strong fault finding, breakdown response, and problem-solving skills

- Experience with preventative maintenance and plant reliability (highly regarded)

- Basic automation / PLC exposure desirable but not essential

- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams

- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
