You’ll report to the Head of Commercial Operations and work closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

About the role

As Management Accountant, you’ll provide the financial insight and commercial analysis that helps our leaders make better decisions.

You’ll take ownership of:

- Monthly management reporting and month-end
- Annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Project profitability, WIP and margin analysis
- Cash flow and financial performance reporting
- Financial controls and governance
- Improving and automating finance reporting and processes

You’ll be a genuine business partner — working with operational leaders and project managers to understand performance, identify opportunities and help improve profitability and efficiency.

You’ll bring:

- CA or CPA qualification, or be nearing completion
- 5+ years’ management accounting experience
- Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
- Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting system experience
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Clear, confident communication and the ability to build relationships

Experience in professional services, consulting, surveying,



engineering, mining or construction would be highly regarded.

Experience with project accounting, Power BI, financial modelling or payroll/labour costing would also be a plus.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare monthly management accounts and executive reporting
- Analyse performance against budget and forecast
- Track key financial and operational KPIs

Budgeting & forecasting

- Coordinate annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Build financial models and scenarios to support decisions
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Monitor project profitability, WIP, utilisation and margins
- Support project managers with financial insights
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
- Improve and automate reporting and dashboards
- Get more value from our ERP and accounting systems
