Parra-Legal & Associates is a growing boutique law firm seeking a motivated and personable Solicitor with 2–3 years’ post-admission experience (PAE) to join our team.

We are a small, client-focused practice handling a diverse range of matters, including conveyancing and property law, immigration law, family law, debt recovery, wills and estates, and general legal matters.

This is an excellent prospect for a solicitor who enjoys variety, client interaction and taking ownership of their matters in a supportive small-firm environment.

About the Role

You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of matters and will be involved in the day-to-day carriage of files from commencement through to resolution.

- Managing your own files and progressing matters efficiently;
- Conducting client conferences and providing practical legal advice;
- Drafting and reviewing legal correspondence, contracts, agreements, applications and other legal documents;
- Conducting legal research and preparing advice;
- Handling conveyancing and property transactions, including contracts, settlements and related matters;
- Assisting with immigration and visa matters;
- Conducting family law matters and corresponding with clients and other practitioners;
- Managing debt recovery matters;
- Preparing wills, estate planning documents and assisting with estate administration;
- Appearing in or assisting with matters before relevant courts and tribunals, where appropriate;
- Liaising with clients, barristers, government departments, courts, agents and other stakeholders; and
- Maintaining accurate file management, time recording and compliance with professional obligations.





About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is an Australian-admitted solicitor with 2–3 years’ PAE;
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Is confident communicating directly with clients;
- Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills;
- Can manage competing priorities and deadlines;
- Is proactive and able to work independently while also being a team player;
- Has a practical and commercial approach to legal problem-solving;
- Is professional, approachable and committed to providing excellent client service; and
- Is willing to work across different areas of law and develop their skills within a general practice environment.

Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:

- Conveyancing / Property Law
- Immigration / Migration Law
- Family Law
- Debt Recovery / Civil Litigation
- Wills & Estates
- General Commercial or Civil Law

Migration agent registration or experience with immigration matters will be highly regarded but is not essential.
