Dave's Welding & Metal Fabrication Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

We specialise in high-quality custom architectural metalwork for residential and commercial projects across Sydney, working with stainless steel, aluminium, brass and mild steel.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication of a wide range of custom architectural metalwork, where accuracy, quality and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabrication of custom architectural metalwork

- High proficiency in TIG welding aluminium and stainless steel is essential

- Experience with metal preparation and processing

- Cutting, shaping, bending, drilling, joining, welding and grinding

- Confident use of hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery

- Reading and interpreting fabrication and shop drawings

- Accurately and safely completing assigned fabrication tasks

- Fabricating components within ±2 mm tolerance

- Performing quality checks on completed products

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment





- CNC machine operation experience is an advantage but not essential

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 4 years of relevant fabrication experience

- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent

- Strong TIG welding skills, particularly with stainless steel and aluminium

- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship

- Strong problem-solving and fabrication skills

- Self-motivated and able to work independently

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Reliable and punctual

- Australian permanent residency or citizenship
