Key Duties

- Evaluate students' skills to create a flexible, individualised curriculum inEnglishthat addresses their specific needs and goals.
- Implement learning programs based on research into how students learn, using formative assessment techniques to adjust instruction and enhance engagement and understanding.
- Continuously refine teaching strategies and activities using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery.




- Develop student-centredactivities that promote exploration and innovation in product design, encouraging practical application of theoretical knowledge.
- Sethigh expectationsto create a protected, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture, fostering creativity and problem-solving.
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values andbehaviours.

Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience in teachingVCEEnglish at Secondary year levels.
- Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal growth
- Goodcommunicationskillsandtheability toexplain complex design conceptseffectivelyand engagewith students, colleagues, and parents.
- Committedto ongoing professional development,keeping up-to-date withcurrent trends inEnglishliterature, andmaintaininga proactive attitude.
- Holds a Teaching Qualification and specialised qualifications inEnglishor related fields.
