A growing renewable energy business is seeking a commercially minded lawyer for an initial three-month contract supporting the rapid delivery of renewable projects across Australia.

This is a hands-on role offering quality commercial work, direct exposure to project delivery, and the possibility of a longer-term or permanent opportunity.

About the role

Working closely with the Head of Legal, and the development and delivery teams, you will help execute an established contracting and financing framework across a significant pipeline of projects.

Your work will include:

- Reviewing and negotiating customer, supplier and project agreements;
- Supporting projects through development, construction, financing, grid connection & operations;
- Ensuring individual projects align with agreed contractual and financing frameworks;
- Supporting procurement, construction and operational contracting.

The legal framework and master documents are already in place. The focus is now on efficiently progressing multiple projects through delivery.

About you





You will be a mid-level lawyer with strong commercial contracting experience and a practical understanding of how project agreements operate.

Experience in batteries or renewable energy would be helpful but is not essential. Lawyers from construction, engineering, infrastructure, property, procurement or another project-based workplace are also encouraged to apply.

You will be commercially focused, comfortable managing multiple agreements, and able to provide clear, timely advice in a growing business.

The initial contract will run for approximately three months through to the end of the year, with an immediate commencement, and the potential to transition into something longer term.
