The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly experienced Wide-Format Digital Print & Production Specialist to play a key role in the ongoing development of this department.

This is a hands-on senior production role suited to an experienced operator who enjoys variety, technical challenge and producing exceptional quality work. You will be responsible for operating a broad range of wide-format printing and finishing equipment, ensuring jobs are delivered accurately, efficiently and to specification.

For the right person, this role can evolve into a senior technical lead position within large format production, with scope to influence workflows, standards and capability development.

Machinery & Systems

- Epson aqueous and solvent roll-fed printers
- HP Latex roll-fed printers
- Laminating equipment
- Vinyl cutting systems




- Zünd G3 3XL 2500 (fully configured with an extensive tool set)
- Caldera RIP / front end
- Online production MIS

Key Responsibilities

- Operate wide-format printing and finishing equipment based on skillset and daily production requirements
- Ensure all jobs are produced and finished accurately to specification within our production MIS
- Manage printing, cutting and finishing processes to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Work collaboratively within the production team and assist in other areas when needed
- Proactively identify process, quality or efficiency improvements in large format production

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 5+ years’ experienceoperating wide-format digital print machinery
- Experience with similar flatbed, roll-fed and finishing equipment (training provided where required to expand capability)
- High attention to detail and pride in producing premium work
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A positive, team-focused approach

Work Schedule

Our print room typically operates on a single extended shift from 6 am to 6 pm. During peak periods, this can extend to a two-shift system covering approximately 5 am to 10 pm and occasionally later. Should someone be looking for a permanent afternoon shift this is also very desirable.

After-hours, weekend, and overtime work is available by agreement and is regularly required to meet demand.

Your specific hours would be determined through consultation with the team. While we currently have some flexibility within our roster, we’d gladly welcome a new team member who brings a similarly adaptable approach.
