Community Partnership Coordinator (Part-Time, Fixed-Term)

Pathway Talent is partnering with a respected not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Community Partnership Coordinator for an innovative youth-focused psychosocial support program. This part-time, fixed-term role, available through to 30 June 2027, offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people up to 25 years of age who have been impacted by suicide-related distress, suicidality, or self-harm.

Working within a cooperative and recovery-oriented environment, you will play a key role in building and strengthening community partnerships, improving referral pathways, and enhancing access to support for young people and their families. Through meaningful engagement with local services, stakeholders, and community partners, you will help ensure young people can access the right support at the right time, empowering them to thrive and achieve their goals.

About the Opportunity

As the Community Partnership Coordinator, you will support stakeholder engagement and partnership development activities across the health, education, community, and youth sectors. Working closely with the Operations Manager, Clinical Lead, and broader program team, you’ll contribute to strengthening local service connections, improving referral pathways, and increasing awareness of available supports for young people and their families.

You’ll help foster collaborative relationships with community partners, assist with service integration initiatives, and support engagement activities that promote coordinated care and positive outcomes for young people experiencing suicide-related distress, self-harm, or suicidality.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, facilitating collaboration, and driving positive community impact through partnership development and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with schools, community organisations, health providers, youth services, and Aboriginal organisations
- Support the strengthening of referral pathways and service linkages across youth mental health and community service providers.
- Deliver presentations, workshops, information sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Represent the program at community forums, networking events, interagency meetings, and sector working groups
- Be involved with community events, and youth engagement initiatives
- Support co-design activities and meaningful lived-experience engagement through youth participation programs
- Maintain accurate stakeholder records, community engagement activities,



and reporting requirements in line with organisational procedures.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Human Services, Health Promotion, or a related discipline
- Experience developing partnerships and engaging stakeholders across health, community, youth, mental health, or social service sectors
- Knowledge of youth mental health, suicide prevention, psychosocial support, aftercare, or related community services
- Strong relationship management, networking, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering presentations and facilitating community engagement activities
- An understanding of the unique needs of young people from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and LGBTQIA+ young people

Essential Requirements

- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant pre-employment checks
