Qualified Carpenters (Chippies)

n

We're also seeking skilled carpenters who take pride in their workmanship and enjoy working as part of a team. Get out of the sun this summer & work under cover at our fully covered facility.

Requirements:

n

Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification

n

Must have own tools, current White Card, driver's licence essential

n

Minimum 2-3 years building industry experience, current White Card.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Complete carpentry work on portable and modular buildings.
n
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
n
- Construct and install timber wall frames, flooring and roof components.
n




- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, skirting, architraves and internal fittings.
n
- Measure, cut and assemble materials accurately and efficiently.
n
- Complete internal and external finishing work to a high standard.
n
- Inspect completed work and rectify defects where required.
n
- Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain equipment appropriately.
n
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
n
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to meet production deadlines.
n

Skill & Experience

n

n
- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent recognised trade qualification.
n
- Proven experience in residential, commercial or modular construction.
n
- Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
n
- Solid attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality finishes.
n
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
