About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator / Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure and community projects. You will administer construction and skilled-services contracts while coordinating projects from planning through to completion. Projects range in value from approximately $10,000 to $70 million and include roads, drainage, bridges, buildings and recreational spaces.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Administer AS2124 and AS4000 contracts across civil infrastructure projects.
n
- Prepare contract documentation, correspondence, notices and project records.
n
- Assess and process claims, variations, extension-of-time requests and payments.
n
- Monitor contractual obligations, performance, risks and emerging disputes.
n
- Coordinate projects to achieve agreed budgets, deadlines and quality standards.
n
- Manage procurement, capital expenditure, resource allocation and progress reporting.
n
- Work closely with internal teams, contractors,
consultants and service providers.
n
- Participate in contractor meetings and undertake site inspections when required.
n
- Identify delivery risks and provide advice to project and program leadership.
n
- Improve contract administration systems, documentation and reporting processes.
n

About You
n
n
- At least eight years' relevant experience in contract administration, project coordination or civil infrastructure delivery.
n
- Strong experience administering AS2124 and AS4000 contracts.
n
- Experience with civil works, construction services and professional consulting contracts.
n
- Knowledge of roads, drainage, utilities, buildings or recreational infrastructure.
n
- Experience delivering complex, long-term projects involving multiple stakeholders.
n
- Strong project management, commercial, negotiation and risk-management capabilities.
n
- Excellent written communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
n
- A qualification in construction, civil engineering, project management or a related discipline.
n
- A valid White Card and current Class C driver's licence.
n
n
Experience within local government and qualifications in contract administration or CPEng membership will be highly regarded.
