About the Role

n

Sensible Care is seeking a Greek-speaking Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Care Worker to provide personalised in-home care and support to a client in Glen Waverley.

n

Greek language skills are essential for this position. The successful candidate will be able to communicate comfortably in Greek with the client and provide support in a respectful, familiar, and culturally appropriate manner.

n

You will also need to have good English communication skills to communicate with the client, family members, and the Sensible Care team and to complete required care documentation.

n

This is a casual role offering weekday shifts, with morning availability preferred.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
n
- Communicate with and support the client in Greek
n
- Assist the client with their individual care needs and daily routine
n
- Prepare meals and assist with household tasks as required
n
- Provide companionship and emotional support
n
- Build a positive and respectful relationship with the client
n




- Follow the client's care plan and support requirements
n
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's needs or wellbeing
n
- Communicate with family members and the Sensible Care team as required
n
- Follow all relevant health, safety, and infection-control requirements
n

About You

n

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Greek-speaking PCA/Care Worker who:

n

n
- Speaks Greek fluently or is highly proficient in Greek
n
- Has previous experience providing personal care / PCA support — preferred
n
- Holds a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, or a related qualification, or has a nursing background
n
- Is compassionate, patient, respectful, and reliable
n
- Has positive interpersonal and communication skills
n
- Is comfortable providing personal care in a client's home
n
- Has availability on weekdays between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, with morning availability preferred
n
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
n
- Has comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
n
