About the role

Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? State Asphalt Services Pty Ltd, a leading provider of civil and construction services, is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join our team in Prestons, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

Liaising with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget

Interpreting design drawings, specifications, and engineering documents to identify and resolve potential issues

Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

Preparing daily reports, progress updates, and other documentation to keep stakeholders informed of project status

Providing technical support and guidance to construction teams, suggesting process improvements where necessary

Collaborating with the design team to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in the civil or construction industry

Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials,



and quality control processes

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills

Solid communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders

Proficiency in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite

Understanding of relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations
