We are seeking aCA/CPA qualified Management Accountantto join our Finance team and take ownership of key financial accounting and reporting activities across our ANZ operations. This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys working with numbers but also wants to understand the "why" behind the numbers, influence business decisions and drive meaningful improvements.

About the role

n

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, with a particular focus on inventory accounting, general ledger management and month-end close.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Owning inventory accounting, including valuation, reconciliations, provisions and variance analysis.
n
- Managing fixed asset and lease accounting.
n
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
n
- Preparing and posting journals in line with accounting standards and company policies.
n
- Leading and supporting month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial results analysis.
n
- Preparing management reports and providing meaningful financial insights to stakeholders.
n
- Supporting internal and external audits, tax compliance and statutory reporting.
n




- Identifying and implementing process improvements to improve efficiency, accuracy and financial controls.
n
- Supporting and developing junior Finance team members.
n
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders and Head Office.

About you

n

You are a technically strong accountant with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification.
n
- 4-7 years' experience in financial accounting, management accounting and/or audit.
n
- Strong inventory accounting and general ledger experience.
n
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, reporting and audit.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- A strong understanding of accounting standards and financial controls.
n
- Experience in a group reporting environment is advantageous.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- The ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
n

Big Four or mid-tier audit experience will be highly regarded.

n
