Salary: $79,000 – $85,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Position

n

We are seeking a passionate, qualified and experienced Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will have strong cooking and food preparation skills and be able to work efficiently in a busy commercial kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
n
- Prepare meals for regular customers and catering orders, including Biryani.
n
- Carry out food preparation, including cutting, portioning, marinating and seasoning ingredients.
n
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
n
- Ensure all food is prepared, stored and handled in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
n
- Conduct stocktakes and assist with inventory management and ordering.
n
- Train,



supervise and support kitchen staff as required.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
n
- Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) and food safety procedures.
n
- Minimise food wastage and ensure effective use of ingredients.
n

Requirements

n

- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant chef experience.
n
- Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred.
n
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills.
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
n
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
n
- Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
