We specialise in maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy earthmoving and mining equipment, ranging from field service work to major component rebuilds and full equipment demobilisation and mobilisation projects.

About the Role

This position involves ongoing work on various mine sites within North West Queensland, along with workshop-based work in Cloncurry. You will work on both surface and underground mining equipment.

Work Options Available

FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns

DIDO from Mount Isa or surrounds (accommodation provided)

Residential Cloncurry (locals encouraged to apply)

Multiple roster options may be available including:

2/1 day shifts roster

Key Responsibilities

- Removing and fitting rims, tyres, and complete wheel assemblies to OEM specifications.
- Performing regular tyre pressure inspections, adjustments, and reporting as required.
- Diagnosing tyre wear and damage, and recommending corrective action.
- Accessing and interpreting technical data via manuals, bulletins,



and digital platforms.
- Working safely and efficiently in accordance with site and company procedures
- Fit, service and rotate tyres; puncture repairs
- Assist workshop staff with general jobs and vehicle prep
- Maintain high standards of safety, presentation and workmanship
- Maintain trucking fleets yards
- Experience working on large earthmoving tyres in mining or civil environments.
- AURKTJ011– Remove, inspect, and fit earthmoving/off-the-road tyres
- AURKTJ012– Remove, inspect, and fit earthmoving/off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies
- AURKTJ015– Isolate and access plan
- Ability to pass a mine site medical including drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to work rotating rosters and shift work
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Experience with Caterpillar, Sandvik and/or Komatsu equipment
- Mining or heavy earthmoving maintenance experience
