About the Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major transmission and utilities infrastructure project in regional NSW.

Working closely with construction, engineering and project management teams, you will be responsible for coordinating delivery activities, managing contractors and interfaces, and ensuring work packages are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme, quality and commercial requirements.

This is a hands-on project delivery role suited to an engineer who enjoys being close to construction and solving problems in a rapid-paced infrastructure workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of transmission line and utility work packages from planning through construction.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Manage interfaces with utility providers, asset owners, contractors and regulatory authorities.
- Review engineering documentation, construction drawings and technical approvals.
- Support construction planning, sequencing and methodology development.
- Monitor programme, cost, quality and safety performance across assigned work packages.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site-based delivery teams.
- Manage RFIs, NCRs, ITPs,



hold points and engineering documentation.
- Identify and mitigate technical, commercial and delivery risks.
- Assist with project reporting, forecasting and client communications.

About You

- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience delivering transmission line, substation, utilities or major energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of HV transmission systems, utility interfaces and construction delivery.
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and field construction activities.
- Ability to manage technical, commercial and programme outcomes across assigned work packages.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Australian utility and electrical infrastructure standards is advantageous.
