Position Overview:

Part Time and Casual Assistant Educator

n

Happy Seeds Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is looking for some Assistant Educators to support our teaching team in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidates will have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with a genuine passion for working with young children.

n

As an Assistant Educator at our Centre, you will work collaboratively with our lead educators to provide a safe and stimulating learning experience for children. You will assist in implementing educational programs, observing children's development, and supporting their social and emotional well‐being.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Lead and supervise a team of educators in the toddler room.
n
- Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
n
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
n
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
n




- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's progress and daily activities.
n
- Collaborate with other staff members and participate in professional development opportunities.
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification (minimum requirement).
n
- Availability to work 4 to 5 days a week.
n
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting.
n
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early years learning frameworks.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Police Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
- Foundations of child safety training certificate.
n
