We are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to support participants near Geelong.

About the Role

You will provide:

- Personal care and hygiene support
n
- Community access and social participation
n
- Domestic assistance
n
- Transport to appointments and activities
n
- Behaviour support and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans
n
- Goal-focused and person-centred supports
n

n

Essential Requirements

n

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- NDIS Orientation module
n
- Police Check
n
- Cert 3 or 4 in Disability or equivalent
n
- Hand Hygiene cert
n
- Covid-19 Infection control module
n
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
n
- Valid Driver's Licence
n
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
n
- Smartphone with internet access
n
- Right to work in Australia
n
- Excellent communication skills
n

n

Experience Required

n

- Behaviour Support Plans

- Community access and capacity-building supports

- Working independently and professionally
n

Shift Information

n

n
- Shifts range from 2 to 7 hours
n
- Morning, afternoon and weekend shifts available
n
- Must be willing to work 2-hour shifts when required
n
- Adaptable availability is essential
n
