About the Role

As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing incoming patient enquiries and telephone calls
- Booking appointments and surgical procedures
- Diary management for specialists
- Coordinating theatre lists
- Processing invoices, receipting and patient payments
- Monitoring upcoming appointments to ensure payments and documentation are completed correctly
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, specialists and colleagues
- General administrative support to the clinical team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous medical reception or specialist practice experience




- Experience using medical software
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new technology
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A caring, positive and professional attitude
- The ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team
