Tyree Transformers design and manufacture Distribution and Power Transformers. About the Role

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is organised, reliable, safety‑focused, and comfortable working both in the yard and with computer systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Organising and storing fabricated items within the factory and yard
- Kitting up fabrication jobs ready for production and dispatch
- Organising and preparing loads for galvanising
- Loading and unloading materials
- Operating a forklift and moving materials around the yard
- Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe
- Assisting with general yard duties as required
- Using computer systems to track, record, and manage materials and jobs




- Working closely with the fabrication and production teams to ensure jobs are ready when required

About You

The successful candidate will:

- Have a current forklift licence
- Be confident using computers and job management/inventory systems
- Have good organisational and time‑management skills
- Be physically fit and comfortable working in a fabrication yard environment
- Have a strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Be able to work independently and take responsibility for keeping the yard organised
- Previous experience in a fabrication, engineering, steel, or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
