We're partnering with a leading national commercial law firm that continues to invest heavily in its Corporate & Commercial practice. As demand for competition, consumer and regulatory advice continues to grow, the team is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to help drive the next stage of its expansion.

n

This is not a role where you'll sit behind layers of hierarchy. You'll work closely with clients, take ownership of matters and be trusted with meaningful responsibility from the outset.

n

You'll advise a broad range of corporate, government and institutional clients on matters including:

n

n
- Competition law issues arising in M&A; and corporate transactions
n
- Merger clearances and ACCC engagement
n
- Consumer law compliance and risk management
n
- Regulatory investigations and enforcement matters
n




- Commercial agreements and competition-related provisions
n
- Restrictive trade practices and Competition and Consumer Act issues
n
- Strategic advisory work for businesses operating in highly regulated environments
n
- Competition and consumer disputes in conjunction with specialist litigation teams
n

The practice acts across multiple sectors, giving you exposure to varied and intellectually challenging work rather than being pigeonholed into a niche.

We're interested in speaking with lawyers who have:

n

n
- 5+ years' PAE in Competition & Consumer Law
n
- Experience advising on competition, regulatory or commercial matters
n
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
n
- A commercially minded approach to legal problem-solving
n
- Confidence managing client relationships
n
- Ambition to contribute to and grow with a successful national practice
n
