Civil Construction Labourer – Pipeline Maintenance & Testing

Califam is a civil contractor with over 40 years' experience working across Greater Melbourne, specialising in sewer construction and maintenance.
n We're looking for an reliable labourer to join our maintenance crew based out of Campbellfield. You'll work alongside experienced technicians to support the inspection, repair, and testing of water, sewer, and drainage pipelines across a variety of civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Assist with hydrostatic and air pressure testing of pipelines
n
- Perform general labouring duties including trenching, site clean-up, and equipment setup
n
- Support the repair and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure
n
- Operate and maintain small plant, tools, and testing equipment
n
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a positive site culture




n
- Record and report test data and site information accurately
n

About You:

n

n
- Previous experience in civil construction or pipeline works preferred
n
- White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
n
- Confined Space and/or Working at Heights tickets – desirable
n
- MR/HR driver's licence or plant operator tickets (advantageous)
n
- Physically fit and able to work in varying outdoor conditions
n
- Team-focused, dependable, and safety-conscious
n
