This role is ideal for a recent graduate/studying or someone with up to 2 years' experience who wants hands-on exposure to taxation, accounting and business advisory work. Working closely with experienced accountants and the Partner, you will be involved in a broad range of client work and receive direct mentoring as you develop your career.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs and individuals.
- Preparing BAS and IAS lodgements.
- Processing bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Preparing working papers and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with payroll and superannuation compliance.
- Liaising with clients to obtain financial information and answer day-to-day queries.
- Assisting with tax planning, business advisory and special projects.




- Maintaining accurate client files and records.

About you

- Hold or be completing an Accounting degree.
- Be studying or intending to study CA or CPA.
- Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Be confident communicating with clients and team members.
- Have a genuine interest in taxation and business services.
- Be willing to learn and take on recent challenges.
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software is advantageous but not essential.
- Direct mentoring from the Partner.
- Exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries.
- A friendly and supportive work environment.
