About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and EDI Coordinator to join a busy and well-established distribution operation.
This is a hands-on position combining warehouse duties, RF scanning and EDI administration. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, helping schedule and prioritise the daily workload while supporting a small warehouse team.
The successful candidate will be organised, computer literate and confident working across both warehouse and administrative tasks. You will need to be comfortable taking initiative, assisting team members and helping keep daily despatch operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing orders and despatch requirements through EDI systems
- RF scanning, picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Completing despatch paperwork and maintaining accurate system records
- Scheduling and prioritising daily warehouse tasks
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations
- Providing guidance and assistance to warehouse team members
- Coordinating workflow to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Liaising with internal departments regarding stock, orders and deliveries
- Loading and unloading goods when required
- Operating a forklift where appropriately licensed
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Regularly lifting and moving cartons throughout the day
Skills and Experience
- Previous RF scanning experience is essential
- Experience using EDI systems within a warehouse, despatch or distribution environment
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning current warehouse systems
- Ability to schedule, organise and prioritise competing workloads
- Previous experience supporting, coordinating or leading a small team
- Good attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and documentation
- Clear communication skills and a practical, hands‑on approach
- Ability to work independently and make sensible operational decisions
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting boxes throughout the day
- Forklift licence is preferred but not essential

You are someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation rather than managing from the sidelines. You can move confidently between the warehouse floor and computer-based administration, understand the importance of accurate EDI processing and are comfortable helping others stay on task.
You will be reliable, organised and approachable, with the potential to become a trusted second-in-charge to the Warehouse Manager.
