HSE Advisor - Goyder BESS Project - North East of Adelaide

UGL is a leader in Australia's energy transition, delivering large-scale solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the country.

As an onsite HSE Advisor, you'll play a key frontline role on the Goyder BESS, a major renewable energy project helping shape South Australia's energy future.

n

Working alongside experienced project and HSE leaders, you'll support the safe delivery of civil, electrical and high-voltage construction works while building your career within UGL's growing portfolio of renewable energy projects.

About the role

n

As an HSE Advisor, you'll spend most of your time in the field, supporting supervisors and frontline crews to maintain a secure and productive workplace.

n

Working closely with the HSE Manager and wider project team, you'll help drive a positive safety culture, support compliance requirements and provide practical guidance across all stages of construction.

n

This role will suit someone who enjoys being visible on site, building strong working relationships and influencing positive safety outcomes through engagement with workers.

Key responsibilities

n

- Provide hands-on, day-to-day HSE support across site activities.
n
- Support pre-starts,



toolbox talks and onsite safety conversations.
n
- Conduct regular site walks, inspections and safety interactions.
n
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions.
n
- Manage HSE documentation, reporting and compliance with UGL's HSE Management System.
n

About you

n

n
- Experience as an HSE Advisor on renewable energy, power, infrastructure or major construction projects.
n
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
n
- Comfortable working a 10/4 roster.
n
- Strong site presence and ability to build credibility with frontline teams.
n
- Practical approach to safety, including experience with incident reporting and investigations.
n
