Based in Braeside in the inner south east of Melbourne, DGM Turf/Environmental Contractors specialise in operating tractors on natural sports turf surfaces renovation / mowing works & on high profile beaches executing mechanical beach cleaning scope of works.

We are an established contractor in the Victorian Sports Turf Industry & Local Government sector with a long-term contract in the City of Kingston and ongoing sports field maintenance, renovation, and construction works across Melbourne. About the Role

n

We currently have a vacancy for a Tractor Operator to join our team, you will be working on exciting new turf, and beach projects. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

n

Tractor operation, ride-on cylinders, and rotary mowing duties

n

Operating tractors on beaches with mechanical beach raking attachments

n

Maintaining knowledge of machinery operation and skill levels in tractors, ride on mowers, utes with trailers, and trucks

n

Adhering to health, safety, and cleanliness standards for machines

n

About You

n

Along with a strong work ethic and preferably previous experience in a similar role, you'll have/be:

n

A current valid driver's license

n

Full Australian working rights, permanent residency or a valid working holiday visa

n

Minimum 1 year of tractor operating experience required

n

Experience with ride-on mowers and/or machinery preferred

n

Self-motivation, organisation, physical fitness, and the ability to work autonomously

n

High attention to detail and robust knowledge of OH&S; requirements
