As a Development Compliance Officer, you'll investigate complex compliance matters, provide expert advice, and support continuous improvement across development and building compliance activities.

What you will be doing:

- Carry out inspections, issue orders and penalty infringement notices
- Enforce legislation requirements and regulations whilst abiding by relevant Acts
- Investigate complaints, defects incidents and offences
- Monitor development, building and subdivision sites
- Prepare statement of basic facts, contentions, briefs of evidence and affidavits as well as appear in court.
- Assess and determine Building Information Certificates

What are we seeking in our new team member:

- Current Class C Drivers Licence




- White Card - General Construction Induction
- Development Compliance Officer, 1-2 years working knowledge and experience of relevant Acts, Legislation, Regulations and Standards
- Diploma/Degree qualifications in Building Surveying, Planning, Compliance or similar field or equivalent industry experience in an enforcement role

Advantages of working with us:

A salary of $93K Development Compliance Officer per annum (plus Superannuation), with either Leaseback OR Car Allowance $15,191.80 per annum, paid weekly.
