We are seeking a friendly and professional Motel Receptionist to join the team at City Golf Club Motel in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment.

As our Motel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they arrive. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the reception desk.

Key responsibilities:

Greeting guests in a warm and professional manner upon arrival and departure

Managing guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately

Processing booking reservations and amendments through the property management system

Answering telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately

Handling guest requests and resolving complaints promptly and professionally

Maintaining accurate records of guest information and stay details

Providing information about local attractions, dining options, and other facilities available to guests

Processing payments and managing the reception till

Ensuring the reception area is kept clean, tidy and well-stocked with information materials





Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a hospitality reception workplace or similar customer-facing role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency with computer systems and property management software (or willingness to learn)

A professional and well-presented appearance

Ability to multitask and manage multiple guests simultaneously

Problem-solving skills and a calm approach to handling challenging situations

Reliability and punctuality

Flexibility to work casual hours including weekends and public holidays as required
