About the role
To contribute to water, sewerage and gas maintenance, construction, and compliance activities to ensure the provision of a protected, reliable and sustainable utilities network for the community and Council infrastructure and facilities.

What we're looking for include;

Certificate III in Plumbing

General Construction Induction (White) Card

Current C (Car) Class Driver Licence

Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain

Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing

Able to complete the following within 12 months of commencement the following;

Council Verification of Skill Level to Competently Operate a Backhoe* (In-house

assessment)

- Apply First Aid and Provide CPR*
- Operate Breathing Apparatus – Open & Closed circuits*
- Working at Heights*
- Working in Confined Spaces*
- Authorised Person & Local Government Worker Training*
