Full-Time Cook – Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Cook specialising in Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, sauces, tandoori and rice dishes.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, portioning and ingredient preparation.
- Follow recipes, cooking methods and portion controls to maintain consistent quality.
- Ensure food meets required standards of taste, quality, presentation and freshness.
- Monitor food storage, stock rotation and ingredient quality.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen and cooking area.
- Assist with stock checks, receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately.
- Work efficiently during busy dine-in, takeaway and catering services.
- Assist other kitchen staff with cooking and food preparation duties as required.




- Clean and maintain cooking equipment and kitchen work areas.
- Minimise food wastage through proper preparation, portioning and storage.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant qualified experience as a Cook.
- Strong experience in Indian cuisine.
- Experience working with a Tandoor is highly desirable.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
