Role Description

The Bartender role is a full-time, on-site position based at Hurricane's Grill in Bexley North, NSW. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following house recipes and responsible service of alcohol guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, taking and processing orders, managing cash and POS transactions, and coordinating with the floor and kitchen team to ensure smooth service. The Bartender will maintain a clean and organized bar area, restock supplies, handle glassware and bar equipment safely,



and support opening and closing procedures. The role also involves answering guest questions, recommending drinks, and contributing to a friendly, inclusive environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including basic understanding of drink and menu offerings.
- Accurate Cash Handling abilities and familiarity with POS or payment systems.
- Practical Bartending skills, including mixing standard cocktails and serving beverages responsibly.
- Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a cooperative approach to working in a team.
