BESIX Watpac are looking for a Project Safety Advisor or Workplace Health Safety Environment (WHSE) Advisor to join our SA Construction team in delivering a range of major construction projects in Adelaide and the surrounding regions. Duties will include;
- Undertake WHSE duties as directed by the WHSE Manager and Site Manager consistent with the requirements of the BESIX Watpac HSE Management Systems.
- Proactively drive company safety, environment and quality policies, practices and procedures in compliance with Management Plans and OH&S; legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Project Safety Management Plan.
- Assist in the review of Safe Work Method Statements or equivalent provided by the subcontractors prior to commencement of work.
- Facilitate the dissemination of health safety setting information to all relevant personnel.
