About the role
This senior role will help shape the strategic direction of Cbus by converting market, member, employer, competitor and regulatory insight into clear strategic choices. The role will partner with business units across the Fund to facilitate the development and evolution of the enterprise strategy, ensuring strategic planning is grounded in evidence and remains focused on improving member outcomes.

This role will define and facilitate strategic initiatives that support the broader Enterprise, drawing on internal performance data, external market intelligence, stakeholder perspectives and emerging industry themes to identify opportunities, risks and trade-offs. It will work collaboratively with business units, executives, Board stakeholders, employers, unions and other external partners to translate insight into practical priorities, clear decisions and sustainable results.

Key to your success will be your;

- Significant experience in enterprise strategy, corporate strategy or strategic advisory roles, ideally within superannuation, financial services, asset management or a similarly complex environment.
- Demonstrated ability to convert market, member, employer, competitor, financial and regulatory insight into clear strategic choices, priorities and practical recommendations.
- Solid understanding of the Australian superannuation sector,



including member outcomes obligations, regulatory expectations, dynamics, product and retirement trends and the industry fund model.
- Proven experience facilitating strategic planning processes, executive workshops and cross-functional strategy development with senior leaders and Board-level stakeholders.
- Highly developed commercial, financial and analytical capability, with the judgement to identify opportunities, risks, trade-offs and implications for long-term enterprise performance.

This is an important senior role requiring breadth of commercial experience, deep understanding of the superannuation market and appreciation of a stakeholder-based industry fund environment.
