Chef – Burleigh Heads, QLD Full-Time | $78,000 – $85,000 + Super

Staff 360 is recruiting an experienced Chef for Mowbray Park Surf Life Saving Club, located in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.

This is a full-time position working as part of an established kitchen team in a busy club environment.

The Role Duties will include:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of meals to a consistently high standard
- Preparing ingredients and managing daily food preparation requirements
- Following menus, recipes and portion control standards
- Monitoring food quality, presentation and consistency during service
- Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Monitoring stock levels, food storage and rotation
- Assisting with ordering and receiving kitchen supplies
- Minimising food waste and assisting with cost control
- Operating and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment




- Working closely with other chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and within required service times
- Complying with workplace health and safety and food handling requirements

Requirements Applicants must have:

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Minimum 12 months relevant work experience as a Chef
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends as required

Employment: Full-Time
Base Salary: $78,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation
