About the Position

An opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to step into an Assistant Restaurant Manager role within a quality regional operation. Working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager, you’ll help lead the team, maintain service standards, and ensure guests receive a consistently high level of service. At $70–75K + super, this role would suit a strong Supervisor or Assistant Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

Position Description

- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant
- Lead, coach, and support the FOH team
- Maintain high standards of service and presentation
- Support training and onboarding of new team members
- Monitor guest experience and handle customer feedback
- Assist with stock control, ordering and operational requirements




- Support the Food and Beverage Manager across a range of service outlets
- Ensure RSA, food safety and venue compliance standards are maintained
- Be hands-on during busy service periods

Position Requirements

- Previous Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Manager or similar experience
- Strong background in quality restaurant, cafe or resort style operations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sound understanding of restaurant service and operational standards
- Very strong beverage knowledge including beers, wines and cocktails
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm during busy service
- RSA > Food Safety Supervisor certificates required
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rotating basis
- Genuine interest in hospitality and delivering a strong guest experience
