About the Role

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Consultant (Manufacturing) to support an Australian recruitment professional across recruitment administration, campaign coordination, business development research, and candidate pipeline building.

This is a hands-on role where accuracy, consistency and timeliness are critical.
You'll support the recruitment process from campaign preparation and job advertising through to candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks and candidate reporting. You'll also contribute to business development research and proactive candidate pooling to help build long-term talent pipelines.

The role supports recruitment across manufacturing, engineering and construction, so you'll have the opportunity to develop specialist market knowledge while working closely with an experienced Australian recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Campaign Administration

- Prepare strategic client briefs ahead of client meetings
- Attend client briefing meetings and manage meeting recordings and transcripts
- Prepare and send Terms of Business and follow up on outstanding documentation
- Produce campaign documents using meeting transcripts, job descriptions and research
- Create and manage jobs in JobAdder once campaigns are approved
- Publish job advertisements to SEEK once authorised
- Manage daily candidate applications, including reviewing applications and updating candidate status
- Prepare and send candidate rejection communications
- Create screening scorecards using campaign documentation and approved AI tools
- Conduct resume assessments and prepare scored candidate summaries
- Send interview requests and coordinate interviews using JobAdder and Microsoft Teams
- Produce confidential candidate reports using interview transcripts and resumes
- Conduct or assist with reference checks
- Prepare formatted reference check documents
- Create interview preparation packs
- Save recruitment documents correctly and upload relevant information into JobAdder

Business Development Support

- Search SEEK, LinkedIn, Indeed and Google for companies advertising relevant roles
- Research companies across the assigned manufacturing, engineering and construction markets
- Identify key decision-makers using LinkedIn and contact research tools
- Add relevant decision-makers to LinkedIn from the recruitment team's account
- Load business development contacts into JobAdder
- Create follow-up tasks for new BD targets
- Maintain industry and market mapping records
- Keep business development information organised and up to date




- Support regular BD reviews with activity and market research summaries

Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development

- Send approved LinkedIn connection requests to potential candidates
- Organise candidates into job-specific and location-specific LinkedIn Recruiter projects
- Monitor LinkedIn Recruiter projects for candidates showing interest or availability
- Send approved LinkedIn InMail to engaged candidates
- Coordinate candidate conversations and calendar bookings
- Load qualified candidates into JobAdder with complete and accurate information
- Notify the recruitment consultant when recent candidates are ready for review
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future vacancies
- Support proactive sourcing across specialist industry verticals

- Lusha — contact and business development research
- Microsoft Outlook — email and communication
- Microsoft Teams — interviews and meetings

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in recruitment administration, recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate management
- Experience working with an ATS or recruitment CRM
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with candidate sourcing, screening or talent research
- Comfortable conducting online research and identifying relevant companies and decision-makers
- Confident using LinkedIn and SEEK
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes
- Strong follow-through and ownership of assigned tasks

Highly Preferred

- Previous Australian recruitment experience
- Experience using JobAdder
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience with SEEK Talent Search
- Experience supporting recruitment campaigns
- Manufacturing, engineering or construction recruitment exposure
- Business development research or lead generation experience




- Experience using AI tools such as Claude for recruitment documentation
- Experience coordinating interviews and reference checks
- Experience working with Australian recruitment businesses

- Keep BD and candidate databases current and organised
- Demonstrate strong ownership and initiative across daily recruitment activities
