Full-Time Rope Access Painter - Remtech Pty Ltd, Rosebery NSW

Remtech Pty Ltd is a NSW Licensed Builder specialising in remedial building works and rope access services. With a highly experienced team and extensive expertise in complex remedial projects, we provide innovative and practical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. We are seeking a full-time Rope Access Painter to join our growing team and assist in delivering high-quality painting and coating services on a variety of challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, stripping old coatings, filling cracks, and applying primers
- Apply paints, protective coatings, sealants, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Perform painting and coating works on buildings and structures using rope access systems, scaffolding, ladders, and elevated work platforms
- Set up, inspect, and safely operate rope access equipment and other access systems in accordance with workplace safety requirements




- Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve specified colours and finishes - Protect surrounding surfaces, fixtures, and work areas from paint splatter and damage during painting works
- Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish and compliance with project specifications
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including working-at-heights requirements and industry regulations
- Liaise effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times

What We're Looking For:

- Relevant qualification in Painting and Decorating or a related trade qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working as a Painter
- Experience working on residential and commercial painting projects
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques, painting methods, and protective coatings
- Ability to work safely at heights and in physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
