Are you someone who knows how to talk to tradies, understands industrial products and enjoys building strong customer relationships?
We are looking for a motivated Trade Sales / Account Manager to manage existing customers, develop new business and grow sales across an established territory.
Based in Launceston, this is a hands-on sales role where you’ll spend your time working with customers, understanding what they need, providing the right product solutions and developing long-term relationships.
The Role Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and developing an existing customer base
- Building relationships with trade and industrial customers
- Identifying and chasing new business opportunities
- Getting out on the road and actively managing your territory
- Providing product advice and solutions to customers
- Preparing quotes and following up sales opportunities
- Demonstrating products to existing and potential customers
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and increase sales
- Working closely with suppliers and the internal branch team

About You We’re looking for someone who is comfortable dealing with trade customers and can combine good product knowledge with a genuine ability to sell.
Ideally, you will have:

- Previous trade sales,



industrial sales or account management experience
- A practical understanding of tools, equipment or industrial products
- Welding or fabrication knowledge and experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence approaching new customers and generating business
- The ability to understand a customer's needs and recommend suitable products
- Valuable negotiation and sales skills
- Strong organisation and time management
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own territory

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys trade sales and being out in front of customers, rather than sitting behind a desk all day.
You may already be working in trade or industrial sales, or you could come from a welding or fabrication background and have the personality and commercial ability to move further into sales.
