Lode Pies and Pastries Pty Ltd operates multiple locations across Sydney, including Surry Hills, Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Rozelle and Chatswood.
The business is currently seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join its team and contribute to the preparation, production and consistent presentation of pastries and other baked products.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and producing a range of pastries and baked products in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients for pastry production.
- Preparing doughs, fillings and other pastry components.
- Rolling, cutting, shaping and assembling pastry products.
- Operating ovens and monitoring baking times and temperatures.
- Checking the quality, consistency and presentation of finished products.
- Monitoring ingredient levels and assisting with stock control and ordering.
- Ensuring ingredients and finished products are stored correctly.
- Maintaining clean and organised preparation areas,



tools and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar pastry production role.
- Practical experience in preparing and baking pastry products.
- Positive knowledge of pastry preparation techniques, ingredients and baking processes.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality and presentation standards.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy food production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.

Employment Details

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $75,000 – $95,000 per annum
