Hipac Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead the planning and commercial performance of our Goulburn manufacturing operation.

We already have a capable, experienced production team. We’re looking for someone who can bring strong manufacturing planning, scheduling and commercial thinking to the operation — ensuring our people, capacity and resources are aligned with what the business needs to deliver.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands manufacturing, enjoys working with valuable people and knows how to balance production priorities with cost, capacity and commercial performance.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the overall manufacturing schedule, ensuring customer requirements, production priorities, R&D; activities, labour, materials and equipment are coordinated effectively.

You’ll maintain visibility of what’s coming, identify capacity or supply constraints early and work with the team to keep manufacturing moving efficiently.

Just as importantly, you’ll understand the numbers behind the operation — monitoring manufacturing costs, labour productivity, margins and profitability and identifying practical opportunities to improve performance.

Your focus will include:

- Manufacturing planning, scheduling and capacity
- Production and R&D; priorities
- Manufacturing costs, margins and profitability
- Labour productivity and resource utilisation
- Materials and supplier performance
- Quality and on-time delivery
- Plant and equipment planning
- Continuous improvement
- WHS and operational compliance

About You





You’re an experienced manufacturing or production leader who can see both the operational and commercial picture.

You’ll be a strong planner who can work through competing priorities, make good decisions and provide clear direction without overcomplicating things.

You’ll bring:

- Experience managing a manufacturing or production operation
- Strong production planning and scheduling capability
- Commercial and financial understanding
- Experience with manufacturing costs, budgets and margins
- Strong people leadership skills
- An understanding of capacity, labour and resource planning
- Practical problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
- A strong understanding of quality and safe manufacturing practices

Experience working with R&D;, engineering, ERP or manufacturing planning systems would be highly regarded.
