Workfast is looking for a experienced Fabricatorto join the workshop team of a leading engineering company inSt Marys.

Location: St Marys, NSW
Pay Rate: $47.00 per hour + Overtime + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3/4pm
Start Date: ASAP

This is a hands-on role involving welding, fabrication, and structural repairs. Offering consistent full-time hours and the potential for a permanent role, this position suits experienced welders/fabricators seeking stable workshop work.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Perform structural welding and fabrication on automotive parts, conveyors and bulk handling products, earthmoving and plant machinery repairs, custom toolboxes and more.
- Carry out fabrication tasks from engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct inspections and repairs of heavy steel frames and structural parts
- Operate oxy/acetylene cutting equipment, grinders, and basic fabrication tools
- Assist in general workshop activities and maintain safe work practices

About You

- Solid welding and fabrication experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environments




- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to specifications
- Familiarity with structural steel repair and assembly
- Safety-focused, reliable, and physically capable of workshop work
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
