Kelm Hire is a growing, independent equipment hire company with a strong reputation for reliability, service, and teamwork. We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.

This role is predominantly field based, attending customer sites to service equipment and respond to breakdowns. Your home base will be either our Cheltenham or West Melbourne branch, where you'll be supported by a knowledgeable and team-oriented team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Service, maintain, and repair equipment in the field and occasionally in the yard
- Attend breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently to minimise customer downtime
- Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
- Work safely and professionally on customer sites

Equipment You'll Work On:

- Scissor Lifts
- Boom Lifts
- Excavators
- General Tools & Equipment

About You:





- Trade qualification as a Diesel or Mechanical Technician (or equivalent experience)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work autonomously in the field
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid EWP License (Advantage)
