Description

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

The successful applicant will complete a placement alongside the VFL Operations team within the Football Department, based predominantly at the club’s headquarters in North Melbourne. The placement will provide hands-on experience in the day-to-day delivery of a VFL program across training sessions and match days.

Tasks will include supporting the coordination of training and match days, assisting with team logistics, data entry/administration tasks, contributing to VFL events and other operational tasks throughout the season.

This placement opportunity commences mid-to-late November 2026.

Hours will vary across the season and will be adaptable to university requirements and individual needs.



The role will include a combination of weeknight training and weekend match day involvement.

Skills And Experiences

ELIGIBILITY

Students who have an upcoming placement as part of their undergraduate degree in Sport Management, Sports Administration, Exercise/Sport Science, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent).

The successful candidate is required to hold a current and valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check. North is looking for reliable individuals with a willingness to learn, who possess the ability to thrive in a team workplace, as well as take initiative and work independently when required. The successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a high level of professionalism and an exceptional work ethic. A passion for Australian Rules Football, some exposure to team sport and computer competency.
