Summary:

The NDIS Support Leader plays a crucial role in the leadership, coordination, and quality delivery of disability support services in Charters Towers, Queensland. This position is essential for ensuring that participants receive secure, person-centred, strengths-based, and rights-focused supports that promote independence and community participation. Working under the guidance of the Service Delivery Manager, the Support Leader will oversee frontline staff, monitor service quality, and contribute to positive participant outcomes through effective operational management and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise frontline support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate and monitor Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Access, Individual Supports, Group Programs, and Centre-Based Activities.
- Ensure compliance with SIL operational requirements, participant rights, and organisational policies.




- Implement person-centred and strengths-based approaches in service delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments of service quality and participant satisfaction.
- Support workforce capability through training and development initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication between participants, families, and support staff.
- Contribute to continuous improvement practices within the service delivery framework.

Qualifications:

- Relevant qualifications in social care, disability support, or a related field.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role ideally within the disability sector.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to person-centred and rights-based approaches.
- Proficient in monitoring and evaluating service quality and compliance.
