Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Canberra, providing essential care and support to aged individuals and NDIS participants. This temporary, casual role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the assistance they need in a respectful and dignified manner. Your contributions will play a significant role in promoting independence and well-being within the community.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients and their families, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their needs.
- Document and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.




- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in aged care and NDIS support.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in aged care or disability support.
- Relevant qualifications in aged care, disability support, or a related field are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Empathy and patience, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Additional Information:

We are also seeking Australian Female Support Workers based on client preferences, 25yo – 50yo for a couple of similar aged female NDIS Participant to support with building independence and life skills. If this is you, we look forward to seeing your application!
