Join a well-established and growing manufacturer specialising in PVC pipes, fittings and extrusion products.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Officer to join the manufacturing team at our Caringbah facility.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with production and has a strong eye for detail.

About the Role
Working closely with Production and Quality teams, you will be responsible for ensuring products consistently meet required specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting routine quality inspections and testing of PVC pipe and manufactured products
- Checking product dimensions including diameter, wall thickness and length
- Carrying out visual inspections and identifying product defects
- Sampling and testing products throughout the production process
- Recording test results and maintaining accurate QC documentation
- Identifying and reporting non-conforming products
- Working with production operators to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Monitoring production against specifications and quality procedures
- Supporting calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment
- Maintaining traceability and quality records
- Contributing to continuous improvement across production and quality processes





The role involves working directly on the manufacturing floor, so you will need to be comfortable being hands-on and actively involved in production quality.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with plastics, PVC, extrusion, pipe manufacturing or a similar industry highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Good understanding of measurements, specifications and tolerances
- Ability to identify quality issues and communicate them clearly to production
- Strong written and computer skills for maintaining quality records
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a production team
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Experience working to Australian Standards and within an ISO 9001 quality environment will be highly regarded.
