Project Engineers – Civil Construction

Sydney Metro | Long-Term Opportunity | Well-Established Civil Contractor

We’re currently looking for an experienced Project Engineers to join a well-established civil contractor with a strong pipeline of work across Sydney Metro.

This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer looking for long-term stability, exposure to a variety of civil projects and the chance to work with an experienced construction team.

The Role You’ll be involved in the delivery of civil construction projects across Sydney, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisors and subcontractors to keep projects running safely, efficiently and to program.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the delivery of civil construction projects from start to completion
- Managing project documentation, QA and project reporting
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction methodologies
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site requirements
- Assisting with project programming, planning and cost control
- Tracking project progress and identifying potential issues
- Working closely with site teams to ensure works are delivered to specification
- Maintaining robust client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with WHS, environmental and quality requirements





About You We’re looking for someone with:

- 3+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction
- Relevant engineering qualification
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes
- Experience with earthworks, drainage, roads, subdivisions or infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work closely with site teams and subcontractors
- A practical, hands-on approach to project delivery
- Full Australian working rights
