Experienced Civil Plant Operator - Grader / Excavator / Posi Track

Etheredge Mintern is seeking an experienced Civil Plant Operator to join our team working across civil infrastructure and road construction projects throughout Melbourne.

n

We are looking for a highly capable operator who is confident across multiple machines, with proven final trim grader experience essential.

n

About the Role

n

This is a hands-on position for an experienced operator who takes pride in their work and can operate efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.

n

You will primarily be operating:

n

n
- Grader - including final trim work
n
- Excavators
n
- Posi Track / Skid Steer
n
- Other civil construction plant as required
n

n

Works will include road construction, bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, pavement preparation, trimming, drainage and general civil works.

n

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Proven experience completing final trim using a grader
n
- Robust excavator operating experience
n
- Strong Posi Track / skid steer operating experience
n
- Experience working on civil construction and road projects
n
- Ability to work accurately to levels, grades and tolerances
n




- Good understanding of civil earthworks and pavement construction
n
- Ability to read plans and follow site instructions
n
- Current relevant plant tickets/competencies
n
- Construction Industry White Card
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Strong commitment to safety and looking after equipment
n
- Ability to work well within a civil construction crew
n

n

Final trim grader experience is essential for this position.

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is more than just a machine operator. You will understand how a civil site operates, be able to work alongside supervisors and ground crews, and be willing to jump between machines depending on what the project requires.

You will be reliable, productive and take pride in leaving behind a quality finished product.
