What You’ll Drive

The Strategic Engagement Manager (Industry and Innovation) is responsible for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic engagement efforts that support the alignment of industry priorities to training and skills innovation at TAFE SA while influencing organisational strategy, planning and government priorities.

The Strategic Engagement, Manager will develop and oversee comprehensive stakeholder consultation and engagement strategies that support complex, multidisciplinary initiatives and effectively coordinate local and national workforce development priorities and the goals of the TAFE SA, ensuring alignment with broader government objectives, emerging industry and skills priorities, and public expectations.

The Skills You Bring

- Extensive experience developing and implementing strategic stakeholder engagement frameworks, policies and best practice processes for complex, multidisciplinary programs.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive,



ministerial and strategic documentation and providing expert advice to diverse audiences.
- Proven strategic leadership experience, including leading multidisciplinary teams, supporting positive team culture and driving organisational change in complex environments.
- Senior-level industry engagement experience, including influencing policy, organisational priorities and strategic initiatives with government, industry and community stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of VET education delivery, with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience and knowledge of the national TAFE ecosystem desirable.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
